There’s a reason why so many people get hooked on pickeball. It’s easy to understand, you can start playing and improve your game very quickly, and all you’ll need is a couple of paddles, a ball and a net. Whether you’re new to the game or an experienced player, building a DIY pickleball rebounder will give you plenty of occasions to practice at home.
One of our customer recently built a pickleball rebounder wall, so we took the opportunity to create a free plan inspired by his design! Mort’s project is adjustable: it can either be set straight up, with a 10% or 20% tilt forward or backward for different drills.
You can customize the size of the project to build a dink pickleball rebounder, a full-court rebounder, etc. You’ll also be able to “re-tink” all of the rebounder’s components, meaning reuse the parts and components for future projects or make it bigger or smaller over time.

What are the best Pickleball rebounder boards?
There are various options when it comes to choosing your pickleball rebounder board. Mort used playboard HDPE material. Playboard materials are easily cleaned and can be used outdoors as well as inside the home. For his project, Mort chose a 1/2″ thick board. For this project cut the board 54.5″ x 43″
2. The cut list
Once you ordered online and the parts have been delivered to your doorstep, it’s time to build your DIY pickleball rebounder. Start by cutting the tubes (don’t forget to buy a pipe cutter if you don’t already have one), it’ll become your new best friend and it’ll be useful for future projects too).
