First of all, we have to tell you about Brad. Brad is a seasoned duck hunter who wanted to build a moveable rigid boat blind. Then he drafted his plans, ordered the parts online, and the rest is history. When he sent us pictures of his build, we were flabbergasted. This very plan is therefore inspired by his project.

What you’ll need: Connectors and tubes

Here are the parts and tubes you’ll need to follow these conduit duck boat blind plans, that are designed to fit a 16 X 5 feet hunting boat. If your boat size is different, change the length of the tubes (see cut list in section 2) and adjust the number of tubes and fittings according to your own plan.

2. The cut list

Once you’ve ordered the parts from our shop and received your building material at home, it’s time to build your DIY duck boat blind frame. Start by cutting the tubes (don’t forget to buy a pipe cutter if you don’t already have one).

Brad’s pro tip:
Once the frame was built and installed on the boat, he lightly sanded all the surface and painted it with dull camo colored spray paint.
