These conduit duck boat blind plans will help you catch the real kind of duck, something more like this:
You ended up here because you’re looking to DIY your duck boat blind frame and my friend, you’ve come to the right place. All you’ll need are EMT conduit and tinktube connectors and you’ll have yourself a custom, inexpensive, sturdy and durable duck boat blind.
You’ve never built with the system? Let’s go through the main steps of this DIY to show you how it works!
1. The parts you’ll need to build your duck boat blind frame
First of all, we have to tell you about Brad. Brad is a seasoned duck hunter who wanted to build a moveable rigid boat blind. He found tinktube when searching online for metal conduit and binimi type connections. He first used this section of our website to understand how the system works. Then he drafted his plans, ordered the parts online, and the rest is history. When he sent us pictures of his build, we were flabbergasted. This very plan is therefore inspired by his project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re set on building your own duck boat blind frame, we strongly advise you to book a free web session with our experts before you start. You’ll get precious advice, help with designing your plans and answers to all the questions you may have regarding your project!
What you’ll need: Connectors and tubes
Here are the parts and tubes you’ll need to follow these conduit duck boat blind plans, that are designed to fit a 16 X 5 feet hunting boat. If your boat size is different, change the length of the tubes (see cut list in section 2) and adjust the number of tubes and fittings according to your own plan.
