What Michaël is saying?
“I work from home at least once a week in a rather dark, closed office. I wanted to move to another room to have a better view of the outside. So I decided to move into the living room. My office was too big for the space I had to allocate in my living room. I’d built a pergola last summer, so I decided to use my cuttings. The width of my desk would be determined by the width of the remaining pieces I had left over from my last project. The chair I’d bought on Amazon, like my old desk, wasn’t ergonomic enough. My elbows weren’t at 90 degrees when I was using my computer, or if they were, my feet weren’t touching the floor. So I was able to adjust the height of my desk to the capacity of my chair. I also bought a slimmer table to hold my laptop, allowing me to push the chair all the way under the shelf to store it. My desk is discreet, it doesn’t clutter up my living room and I now have much more light when I’m working. Happiness at work is in the details!”
