Overconsumption is no longer a buzzword. To counter its perverse effects, various upcycling trends are taking over, here, there and everywhere! It is by giving an existing, often broken piece of furniture a new life or by using used materials to create something new that the planet will be better off … and your wallet too!
Good news: revamping, rethinking and reinventing, that’s what we do best at tinktube! Our tubes and connectors can be used to give a second life to a piece of furniture you already have. Inexpensive, but above all malleable, our materials will become your best ally for your upcycling projects.
1. A recycled shelve
Katia used a wooden board that had been lying around in the garage for months to display her gin collection. Ever since she built this shelve with upcycled material, her gin-tonic doesn’t taste the same. She was even able to get a new bottle of gin with the money she saved with her recycled material!
To make this shelve:

2. A Pimped Coffee Table
Michael already had a coffee table for his living room. As it did not suit his needs, he chose to modify it rather than replace it. He added a removable glass surface, secured with tubes and connectors.

3. A Recycled Wood Coffee Table
This recycled piece of furniture is the perfect example of how everything can be recycled. Our tinktuber used recycled wood to create an original coffee table. He used tinktube materials to make the structure of his furniture, which gives it an interesting industrial look.

4. A Tailor-Made Gaming Desk
Our tinktuber used the surface of the work desk he already had to make a custom game table. This upcycling project can be adjusted to meet the needs of any geek. Thanks to the money saved with this recycled piece of furniture, you can buy yourself the gaming chair of your dreams!

5. A Table for the Balcony
Katia maximized the space on her balcony by building a retractable table herself. She used an old (but not that old) wooden plank and some tinktube materials.

6. A DIY Bedside Table
Derek needed a nightstand, but he didn’t want to pay the full price. Instead, he chose to recycle a plank of wood which he sawed in thirds and assembled with tubes and fittings. This upcycling bedside table cost him less than $ 20 …!

7. An Upcycling Coffee Table
In addition to running his own business, ensuring the well-being of his twins and moving into his new home, our tinktubeur Julien felt he did not have enough plans! That’s why he decided to build a coffee table for his living room himself. He recycled a barn wood table to make the surface of his furniture. 8. A DIY Standing Desk
Like most of us, Luke didn’t expect to be working from home that long. After a few weeks of working on a desk that didn’t suit him, he chose to build THE desk of his dreams. He developed a plan, which would allow him to work standing or sitting, indoors or outdoors. He recycled the glass surface that covered an old piece of furniture that served as his work table and used tinktube materials.

9. An Upcycling Urban Chicken Coop
Esteban developed a plan to build an urban chicken coop, with recycled materials. The surfaces, fences and panels intended for the construction of the chicken coop are probably already located somewhere in your garage, if you’re looking to do the same.
Thanks to this glamorous henhouse, your hens will be so happy that they will offer you fresh eggs every morning. However, we are not responsible for the mood of your neighbors!
10. DIY Recycled Furniture
Rather than using a recycled wood surface, you can use items you already own. Here, the designer chose to recycle an old suitcase, which he fixed on legs. You can use the tubes and connectors to assemble this very original piece of furniture!
