tinktube products are currently only available on our online store.
There is no showroom at this time.
We do not currently offer tube cutting. However, it is very easy to cut the tubes yourself using the pipe cutter tool sold on our online store.
For orders of 15 units and more, we can design and assemble your structures. Contact us at [email protected] for more information about this type of order.
Indeed, it would actually make more sense to have 8 “(96”) tubes, but for shipping companies like FedEx, these tubes are more complex and cause overload.
We will do our best to assist you via chat, email exchanges or by phone to support you in the success of your project! A DIY project, however, is difficult to design from a distance. Therefore, our team will be limited in its approach. If you have complex questions regarding your project, we invite you to email us with photos at [email protected].
Our components are guaranteed for 1 year for any manufacturing defect. Structures assembled by the customer are not guaranteed. Tinktube is not responsible for assemblies and designs made by a customer. For more details, see our Sales Policy.

Our main office is located near Montreal, in Farnham, Canada. We also operate a warehouse near Atlanta, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

You will receive a notification by email or phone before your order ships. We will try to offer you an alternative component or we will inform you about the anticipated deadlines for the delivery of the missing part. Unless you tell us otherwise, the order will not be shipped until it is complete.

Shipping and return
If the parts you received do not appear to match the parts in your order, it is quite possible that you have ordered “connector sets” or wheels, some of which we ship in their component parts. For example, if you order product #HJ-1, you will receive two H-1 components, a bolt, and a nut all separately. For more information, check-out this connectors chart.
If there is a problem, you have up to 30 days after delivery to return your tinktube products, other than the tubes. If you want to make a return, please do the following:

Although we make every effort to ensure that the quantity of parts in each order is correct, errors can sometimes occur. If you notice a discrepancy between the number of products ordered and the quantity delivered, contact us by phone at 1-888-614-0018 or by email at [email protected] in order to report the error within 30 days of delivery. We will send you the missing parts as soon as possible!
In the event an order is damaged in the shipping process, contact us by phone or email within 30 days of receipt. You will need to take photos of the damaged package so that we can proceed with product replacement. Unfortunately, we are reliant on delivery companies.
It is possible to pick up the products directly from our warehouse. However, you must order online or by phone before coming and give us a minimum of 1 working day to prepare everything. Please wait for the email confirmation before you drop by the warehouse to avoid going back home empty handed.

Technical
Your project’s design will determine its load capacity. Like any building system, it is the number of columns, the number of beams and their spans that will determine your structure’s load capacity. We encourage you to strengthen your construction as it is being assembled to prevent accidents!
Although very strong, the modular system is not designed or approved to support people, or to act as a physical protection system.
Yes, some components like black connectors, tubes and accessories can be used outdoors, if they are well protected. Chrome connectors are intended for indoor use, given their propensity to rust when exposed to moisture.
The steel connectors are coated with E-Coat, which is a very durable electro-coating process, a cross between plating and painting. Galvanized steel tubes are coated with baked powder paint.
We recommend that you use a pipe cutter or a band saw.
The diameter is 27.6mm, or 1-1/16 “.
We recommend a 5 mm allen key with a handle, a drill or a screwdriver. If using power tools, be careful not to over-tighten so as not to damage the components.
tinktube does not sell surfaces because the possibilities are endless and it is very difficult to ship this type of product! You can easily explore many options by visiting your nearest hardware store.
There are many ways to install surfaces with tinktube, but using part AO-EMT1 is the most common.
The optimum torque is 12 in-lbs for the main bolt, the M6-25B. In order to check if you’ve tightened properly, you should be able to feel the bolt when you touch the nut and there should be space between the connector pieces. The pieces must not touch each other.
We offer a few accessory options: the AF-RUB, the HJ-9 and the most popular, the AF-TLEV.
There are a few accessory options such as the AO-EMT1, AO-EMT2, HJ-9, HJ-8 and the most popular, the AF-OTM. Make sure to secure your project in the wall studs.
There are 2 kinds of wheels, the plate wheel and the stem wheel. The plate wheel attaches with the fly kit and your structure should be designed accordingly. The stem wheel installs more easily, but is designed for lighter (less frequent) use. The latter should be inserted inside the tube, by first inserting the ring that comes with the wheel.
It all depends on the connector and whether the tube is horizontal or vertical. The most common case with corner connectors HJ-2, requires starting from its desired overall outside measurement and subtracting 2” from each side to determine the length of the horizontal tube cut. For example, to make a 36″ length, use 36″ – 2″- 2″ = 32″ for the length of the horizontal tube.
